Within the framework of the NATO summit being held in Wales, Armenian Minister of Defense, Seyran Ohanyan, on Thursday participated in the meeting of the heads of the defense agencies of the NATO member and partner states.
At the session, the Interoperability Platform initiative also kicked off between NATO and the partner countries.
In his address to the discussants, Ohanyan noted that the Armenia MOD considers this new initiative to be a unique confidence-building measure, which also will contribute to the easing of the current tension in the South Caucasus and surrounding regions.
