YEREVAN. – The statement made by Turkish leader in Baku once again proved that years and civilization is not changing this country that is trying to cut off the hand stretched out by the Armenian side, ARF Dasnhaktsutyun member said.

“We are stretching out the hand of friendship to Turkey, and they are doing their best to cut it off. I am against handing over any letter to the president of Turkey as unfortunately the years and civilization could not make them realize what they have done. Ahead of the centennial of the Armenian Genocide, instead of making a move to recognize Genocide or mitigate the consequences, they unite to implement denial policy more effectively,” Armen Rustamyan said commenting on Erdogan's remarks.

Earlier Erdogan stated that the Armenian-Turkish rapprochement is linked to the resolution of the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan, Haber3 website of Turkey reported.
