YEREVAN. – Garen Nazarian, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, attended, on Friday in Stockholm, the informal meeting of the deputy FMs of the Eastern Partnership countries.

The objective of the event was to discuss the Eastern Partnership cooperation ahead of the summit in Riga, the capital city of Latvia.

In his remarks at the meeting, Nazarian underscored the continuity of Armenia’s cooperation with the European Union, informed the MFA press service. But it was also stressed that steps need to be taken to form a bridge of cooperation between various integration processes.

Within the framework of his visit to the Swedish capital city, the Armenian deputy FM also had a private meeting with Frank Belfrage, the State Secretary for Foreign Affairs of Sweden.

The interlocutors conferred on Armenian-Swedish relations, and exchanged views on regional and international developments.
