YEREVAN. – Relations between the current presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan are negative factor for achieving peace on Karabakh, Azerbaijani analyst said.
Shahin Rzayev, director of Azerbaijanis office of the Institute for War & Peace Reporting, is convinced that situation on Karabakh becomes tense because of negative personal relations between the presidents.
“Ilham Aliyev and Serzh Sargsyan do not like each other too much. I am sure that if Hydar Aliyev and Levon Ter-Petrosyan were leaders, the situation could have been different, and the treaty could have been signed,” he added.
