The ICRC delegates visited an Armenian citizen who crossed the frontline in Gazakh district of Azerbaijan several days ago, representative of ICRC Yerevan office told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

During the visit on September 8, the family news was transmitted. The family members and Armenian authorities were informed about the visit.

Azerbaijani media said Armenian citizen Sargis Ananyan was detained on August 26 nearby Kemerli village. Official confirmation of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry came a week later. And only on September 8, two weeks later, ICRC representatives were permitted to visit the captive.
