YEREVAN. – Political analyst Stiopa Safaryan, who is also a member of Armenia’s opposition “Barev [Hello], Yerevan” faction at the capital city Yerevan Council, is convinced that on Tuesday, opposition Armenian National Congress party (ANC) leader and First President Levon Ter-Petrosyan met with non-pro-government Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) Chairman Gagik Tsarukyan to discuss the matter of constitutional reforms.

“Ter-Petrosyan fears that Gagik Tsarukyan will change his mind and express in favor of these changes.

“Neither the matter of the [parliamentary] four [which is an alliance of the four non-government National Assembly factions (ANC, PAP, ARF, and Heritage)] nor the remaining matters are important here,” Safaryan told reporters on Wednesday.
