A PACE sub-committee on Nagorno-Karabakh would be a timely one, stated PACE President Mevlut Cavusoglu.
The sub-committee can be re-established during the present session of PACE, he said. Mevlut Cavusoglu plans to meet the Armenian and Azeri delegations, Trend reports.
The Armenian delegation member Naira Zohrabyan reported earlier that PACE may vote for re-establishing a sub-committee on Nagorno-Karabakh. She urged the Armenian side to boycott the committee’s activities thereby depriving it of its powers. “We will not have the Nagorno-Karabakh problem discussed by PACE, as it can prove detrimental to the negotiations within the OSCE Minsk Group,” she said.
