The RA State Revenue Committee has published the information on the profits from the sales of goods and services received by the 344 largest Armenian taxpayers this January-April – over 604.6bn AMD (an 11.5% increase as compared with the corresponding period last year).
The largest taxpayers’ imports totaled 245.2bn AMD and exports 81.4bn AMD. Imports increased by 51.5% and exports by 86.2% as compared with last January-April.
This January-April, a 13.6% increase in taxes paid by the 344 largest taxpayers was registered as compared with the corresponding period last year. The VAT revenues showed a 29.8% increase, and income tax revenues a 42.9% increase. On the other hand, the profit tax revenues showed a 13.2% decrease.
This January-April, the largest taxpayers paid a total of 61.5bn AMD as taxes and other compulsory payments. Particularly, VAT payments totaled 18.8bn AMD, profit tax payments 16.2bn AMD, incomes tax payments 8.9bn AMD.
As regards compulsory social payments, the 344 largest taxpayers’ share totaled 9.8bn AMD – an annual increase of 8.7%.
The 344 largest taxpayers overpaid a totaled of 63.4bn AMD, with the VAT share being 43.9bn AMD.
