Renowned Turkish writer, historian and Clark University professor Taner Akcam is on a visit to Iran at the invitation of the Armenian Diocese in Tehran. The invitation was sent to the Turkish writer by a commission created on the occasion of 95th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.

A presentation of the Persian translation of Akcam’s book entitled “Shameful act” book will be held on June 23. He will also give a press conference, Araks daily reported.

Iranian university professors, intellectuals as well as representatives of the Armenian organizations will participate in the events.
