If Azerbaijan tries to violate the border of Armenia or Nagorno-Karabakh, it will be decisively repulsed by Armenian freedom fighters, Vladimir Arakelyan, Deputy Commander of the Tigranes the Great regiment, told NEWS.am.

“The Armenian freedom fighter has always had its say. It is a fact. Let Azeris not forget what happened to them. We did not reach Baku then. If they try to violate the borders of Armenia or Karabakh, it will be sad for them this time,” he said.

He pointed out that freedom fighters are always ready to defend Armenia’s borders.  “No matter what forces are in power in Armenia. The will go, but Armenia remains,” Arakelyan said. Azerbaijan will certainly be defeated if it resumes war. “We have a very insidious enemy, and an insidious enemy is never strong. No doubt, Azerbaijan will certainly suffer defeat, and we will even enlarge our security zone,” Arakelyan said. He also urged the authorities to unite the people “so that we can gain victory in war.”
