YEREVAN. – Market traders decided to stage their next protest near the building of the Armenian National Assembly on September 29, they declared after today's action near the government.

After numerous calls to talk to the prime minister, the protesters were approached by the official from government's staff who informed the traders about PM's promise that the new law will not affect small business. At the same time Alexander Ghazaryan said the law will not be changed and offered protesters to present their demands in a formal letter.

Pursuant to the Law on Turnover Tax, which will come into force on October 1, a business enterprise will be warned at first, and, subsequently, it will be fined for not submitting a document on its commodity circulation. The large businesses, however, often do not provide documents to the small and medium-sized enterprises concerning the products.
