June 22, RA President Serzh Sargsyan met with the acting President of the Bundesrat Jens Bohrnsen.

The sides discussed issues of expanding cooperation in bilateral and multilateral formats, the RA presidential press service informed NEWS.am. The two pointed out deepening Armenian-German relations. They stressed that the future bilateral agreements will contribute to further expansion of the ties.

The leaders pointed out implementation of joint cultural, scientific and educational programs. They also spoke of cooperation opportunities in the IT and tourist industries, energy sector and infrastructure.

The RA President also plans to meet with the Bundestag President Norbert Lammert.
