YEREVAN. – Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan received the participants in the 21st session of the Coordination Council of the Tax Services Managers of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

The PM noted that the Government of Armenia underscores the improvement of the business and the investment domains, including the development of the tax sphere.

“In this context, the Armenian government pays a primary attention to the improvement of the activities of the tax and customs services [in Armenia],” the Premier stressed.

In turn, the heads of the CIS tax services presented details on the matters discussed during the aforesaid session. In addition, they considered significant the measures being taken towards the development of the tax service in Armenia, and underscored the exchange of knowhow.

The interlocutors noted that they have common goals, and the challenges facing them can be addressed by joint efforts.
