Russia’s State Duma has ratified a treat on Eurasian Economic Union signed by the presidents of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan in May.

The treaty was ratified almost unanimously, with 441 “yes” votes and one abstention, RIA Novosti reported. No one voted against the treaty.

Earlier Russian official said Armenia is expected to join the Eurasian Economic Union on October 9.
