YEREVAN. – At the invitation of President Serzh Sargsyan, Greek President Karolos Papoulias will arrive in Armenia on September 29, on a two-day state visit.
In Armenia, the President of the Hellenic Republic will meet with President Sargsyan, National Assembly Speaker Galust Sahakyan, and Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan.
In addition, the Greek president will visit the Armenian Genocide Memorial in capital city Yerevan, lay a wreath to the monument to the genocide victims, and pay tribute to the innocent victims, informed the Press Office of the President of Armenia.
Furthermore, the documents on strengthening and deepening Armenian-Greek relations are expected to be signed at the Armenian Presidential Palace.
Subsequently, Presidents Sargsyan and Papoulias will deliver a statement to the media, and with respect to the results of their talks.
Within the framework of the Greek president’s visit to Armenia, Yerevan will host an Armenian-Greek business forum, to which the two presidents will attend.
Karolos Papoulias also will pay a visit to the “Garni” Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve.
