YEREVAN. – Armenia held quite a lot of negotiations with the European Union, and there was a text that was not signed because of intention to join Customs Union, German Ambassador Reiner Morell said.

In this new situation, the sides had to decide what it means for each other. During the Eastern Partnership summit in Vilnius, the European Union realized that each member state needs particular approach.

“The first idea was to provide equal opportunities for signing of Association Agreement with the same content, but it appeared that the terms for each state are different. For instance, Belarus has not held talks in connection with the entire text of agreement. Azerbaijan has not registered progress on the matter,” Morell said.
