President of Russia Vladimir Putin has signed a law ratifying a treaty on Eurasian Economic Union signed by the presidents of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan in May.
The headquarters of the Union will be located in Moscow, the court – in Minsk and financial bodies in Almaty.
Kazakhstan and Belarus are expected to ratify the treaty before the summit in Minsk.
Earlier Russian official said Armenia is expected to join the Eurasian Economic Union on October 9.
