YEREVAN. – There were problems in connection with the Vienna-Yerevan and the Yerevan-Vienna flights that were to be conducted on Friday.

Armenian government-affiliated General Department of Civil Aviation Press Secretary Ruben Grzelyan confirmed this information to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

He noted that according to their information, the Vienna-Yerevan flight was not conducted because of problems with the technical staff.

The Yerevan-Vienna flight likewise was not conducted, but its passengers were sent to Vienna via different flights.

And those passengers coming to Yerevan, and about whom there is no information, are still in Vienna.

These flights are conducted by Austrian Airlines, with which we cannot establish contact to receive comments.

According to our information, the reason for the cancelation of the Vienna-Yerevan flight was the absence of the first officer.
