Brazilian clown Francisco Everardo Oliveira Silva, who is best known by the stage name Tiririca, was reelected as MP in Sunday’s national election in Brazil.

Tiririca received over one million votes in the state of São Paulo, reported RIA Novosti news agency of Russia.

According to the sources, Tiririca had received 1.3 million votes four years ago.

His campaign slogans in the last election were: “It can’t become any worse than it is now,” and “Do you know what the MPs do? I don’t know either. Vote for me, and I’ll find out.”

And Tiririca tried to make good on his promises.
