Armenian and French Foreign Ministers Edward Nalbandian and Laurent Fabius will confer on the preparations for a meeting Armenian and Azerbaijani Presidents Serzh Sargsyan and Ilham Aliyev.
The Nagorno-Karabakh peace process will be discussed at the talk of the two FMs, informed the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development of France.
“During his visits to [the Azerbaijani and the Armenian capital cities of] Baku and Yerevan in May, the President of France proposed his Armenian and Azerbaijani colleagues to meet in Paris in fall, to discuss the avenues for the settlement of the [Karabakh] conflict.
“We are working in that direction. This matter will be a part of the agenda of the meeting between Laurent Fabius and Edward Nalbandian,” the French ministry said in a press release.
