YEREVAN. -- Arab Spring in the Middle East showed ineffectiveness of relations between Armenia and Armenian communities, Arab studies' specialist Hayk Kocharyan said.
According to him, there is almost no Armenian community in Iraq.

“We have to think about the Armenian community in Syria, in particular, Aleppo. There is also a, small community in Damascus. Assistance should be provided to the Armenian community in Syria,” he said during a press conference on Monday.

Speaking about the actions of Islamic State and the involvement of countries neighboring countries Armenia, Kocharyan noted that it is quite possible that this will lead to a complication of communication possibilities for our country.

“Secondly, if we consider that the citizens of a neighboring countrys (Turkey -ed.) take part in the hostilities, it also represents a danger for Armenia, as it is unknown where the militants will be sent by the authorities in the event of their return to homeland in the future,” he added.
