YEREVAN. – Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met with CSTO Secretary General Nikolay Bordyuzha on Monday.

During the meeting, Minister Nalbandian noted that Armenia attaches importance to cooperation within CSTO as a key component of the country's security and will continue consistent efforts aimed at strengthening of cooperation within the organization.

The sides discussed implementation of decisions adopted during CSTO council in September 2013 and issues related to coordination of the policy of member states.

They also noted importance of strengthening mechanisms to ensure safety of the borders of CSTO member states.
