YEREVAN. – “I don’t believe the ‘[President] Serzh Sargsyan, go away!’ call-demand is the solution to all of Armenia’s problems.”

Non-pro-government Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) National Assembly Faction member Stepan Margaryan stated the abovementioned in response to a query on whether such a demand will be heard from the lips of his fellow party members.

“We believe that calls must be made which will solve significant problems. The country is literally destroyed. This process needs to be stopped both within the country and in the international arena,” Margaryan noted.

In his words, the PAP underscores the authorities’ compromise with respect to the parliamentary opposition’s twelve-point demands to the government.

“The future courses of action by the political forces depend on the twelve points,” Stepan Margaryan argued.
