YEREVAN. – If non-government parliamentary groups decided to present their proposals during a rally, they will face no obstacles on their way, MP from ruling Republican Party of Armenia said.

Hovhannes Sahakyan said Armenia is a democratic state and there are no obstacles to expression of political views.

“The ruling party has its own position, program of the government in accordance to which we fulfill our commitments,” he told reporters on Wednesday.

Sahakyan also commented on the statement by Prosperous Armenia secretary Naira Zohrabyan saying the authorities should resign.

“First it is necessary to determine what she means by change of power: change of government, ministers or National Assembly”.
