YEREVAN. – President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev read the letter of Ilham Aliyev “just for bargaining”, Prosperous Armenia member, economist  Vardan Bostanjyan believes.

If Lukashenko and Nazarbayev make negative remarks about Armenia's accession to Eurasian Economic Union, this does not mean they have negative attitude toward Armenia.

“It's not personal, its' business”, Bostanjyan emphasized.

They simply wanted to "negotiate good terms for themselves in the Eurasian Union”. The case of Armenia, in particular the question of customs checkpoint between the two Armenian republics, became a bargaining chip for the leaders, he added.

Nevertheless, Nazarbaev and Lukashenko need to know that Karabakh is Armenia, it was and will be, Bostanjyan resumed.
