YEREVAN. – Heritage party has never made anti-Russian statements, deputy chairman of the party Armen Martirosyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

He was asked to comment on the recent interview by Prosperous Armenia leader Gagik Tsarukyan who said one could never hear anti-Russian statements from him and his political supporters.

“He was right, we have never made anti-Russian statements. We are pushing Armenia's interests and believe there must be European system of values, but it does not mean we are anti-Russian actors. Have you ever heard us saying bad things about the Russian people? You should not mix anti-Russian position with pro-Armenian one. We do respect all nations and countries, but national interests are a priority,” Martirosyan emphasized.
