YEREVAN. – Germany and Israel have found the path to the future, but no one has right to press any other state, German Ambassador to Armenia Reiner Morell said commenting on non-recognition of the Armenian Genocide by Turkey.

Ambassador recalled that after the First World War, Germany took the blame and tried to compensate for the people of Israel.

“For all Jews it was diffcult, but they made the move and forgave us,” Morell said.

To date, he said, Germany and Israel have much links in politics.

“But I think that any state must find a path. Turkey has not shown that willingness toward Armenia. Maybe they need a lot of time to understand and accept their past. Israel and we found a path to the future, but I think that we can not push anybody,” Ambassador added.
