YEREVAN. – The matter of a complete change of power is on the political agenda of the non-government trio—that is, the three non-government National Assembly (NA) factions (Armenian National Congress, Prosperous Armenia, and Heritage).
Heritage’s NA Faction Head Ruben Hakobyan told the abovementioned to reporters on Thursday, and added that this was announced at the last regional rally of the trio.
In Hakobyan’s words, on Friday’s major rally in capital city Yerevan, the trio forces will have their say on the proposed constitutional reforms and the overall situation in Armenia.
“The agenda will be full, during which we will announce to the people about the need for a change of power. In addition, the parliamentary trio will introduce the ‘roadmap’ for their courses of action,” he added.
Hakobyan also noted that if the authorities were wise, they will take into account that their actions do not match the present-day situation in the country.
“The establishment, however, does not have that wisdom, and it continues to build its ‘secure country.’ Hence, the matter of a change of power is on the agenda of all political forces,” he stated.
Heritage’s MP added, however, that a regime change is a lengthy process.
