Russians and residents of other CIS states are the main tourists visiting the CIS countries, TASS reported quoting tourism officials who arrived in St. Petersburg from four countries.

For example, in Belarus, 62.3% of tourism revenue is money from the Russian tourists. Most Russians are attracted by health tourism in Belarus. Many Belarusian tourists visit Russia, too.

More than half of tourist influx in Armenia falls on the citizens of the CIS countries, among them 90% are Russians. In 2014 Armenia expects growth in number of tourists by 200 thousand as compared with last year.
