YEREVAN. - The American national currency’s (USD) exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 412.37/$1 in Armenia on Friday, and this makes for an AMD 0.43 rise from Thursday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 522.56 (down by AMD 2.95), that of one British pound was AMD 662.10 (down by AMD 5.33), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 10.22 (down by AMD 0.10), informed the Central Bank of Armenia press service.

One gram of silver, gold, and platinum amounted to AMD 233.87, AMD 16,264.25, and AMD 16,996.76, respectively.

Friday’s trading totaled USD 4,200,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 412.75/$1, and the trading session closed likewise at AMD 412.75/$1.
