Mayor of French town of Bourg-Les-Valence believes rapid development of tourism is expected in Shushi, a town in Karabakh.

Marlene Mourie, a member of France-Karabakh friendship circle, said her town has many links to the Nagorno-Karabakh, and the Armenians of French town made a significant contribution it.

“We are convinced that rapid development of tourism is expected in Shushi, and we will work in this direction, in particular on the planned French-speaking center,” she said in an interview with an official website of France-Karabakh friendship circle.

On October 5 a declaration of friendship was signed by representatives of Bourg-les-Valence and Shushi.
