At its June 25 session, the PACE Bureau made no decision on a sub-committee on Nagorno-Karabakh.

“Today I gave a report on the Sub-committee on Nagorno-Karabakh to the Bureau. As you know, I met with the heads and members of Azerbaijani and Armenian delegations June 23. No decision concerning the activity of the sub-committee was made at this meeting of the Bureau. I informed members of the Bureau about details of meetings with the delegations of both countries. Discussions on the activity of the Sub-committee will continue at the next meeting of the Bureau,” PACE President told Trend News.

Armenia is vehemently opposing the revitalization of the sub-committee on Nagorno-Karabakh. Yerevan is confident that the Karabakh issue should be discussed within the OSCE Minsk Group only.
