YEREVAN. – The agenda of the October 10 rally by the three non-government parliamentary forces (Armenian National Congress, Prosperous Armenia (PAP), and Heritage) consisted of social, economic, and legal matters. PAP Spokesperson and National Assembly Faction member Tigran Urikhanyan told the aforementioned to reporters on Monday.
“A very large number of people pin hopes on the [parliamentary] trio, especially on the PAP.
“Domestic and foreign policy issues were not on the [rally] agenda. Our demands were not political, but they became political because the authorities refused to listen and solve the matters we have put forward.
“As for [PAP Chairman] Gagik Tsarukyan’s remarks, he said everything; that is, the situation is no longer tolerable, the authorities are leading a political course which the PAP is not in accordance with, [and] an irreversible phase of changes is beginning,” Urikhanyan said stressing that Tsarukyan’s speech has given the answers to all questions.
