YEREVAN. – There is no issue of Armenia’s opposition Heritage Party leaving the “parliamentary trio”—that is, the three non-government National Assembly factions (Armenian National Congress, Prosperous Armenia, and Heritage).

Heritage’s vice-chairman Armen Martirosyan told the aforementioned to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Martirosyan also stressed that the party holds frequent discussions and that these discussions are open.

“There is no such thing as us leaving the trio,” he stated.

Iravunk daily had reported that according to a source close to Heritage, heated discussions were held within the party, and with respect to whether it is expedient to continue cooperation within the framework of the trio, after when Heritage’s chairman, ex-presidential candidate, former FM Raffi Hovannisian was basically humiliated at the trio’s rally on October 10.
