YEREVAN. – The rally organized by three non-government parliamentary parties was not as huge as they said, Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) faction secretary Gagik Melikyan said.

“There were around 5 or 6 thousand people, while they are speaking about 50 thousand. Those people are bewildered, they lost their hopes. On October 10 when a treaty on Eurasian Union was signed, there was an impression that political forces gathered in Liberty Square did not know what to say,” Melikyan said.

The member of ruling party is convinced the three parties have no common position which is clear from the speeches of their leaders.

Prosperous Armenia, ANC and Heritage parties held a nation-wide demonstration in Liberty Square last Friday to protest the policy of the government and president.
