YEREVAN. – Military cooperation between Armenia and Russia is at a fairly high level, Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan said at the French University in Armenia.

Speaking about the recent visit of Russian counterpart Sergey Shoygu to Baku to discuss prospects for formation of collective security in the Caspian region, the Minster said it is rather complicated region.

“There are five countries that have to work with each other. We consider as normal this cooperation that will lead to putting regional security problems on a firmer footing. Without cooperation, this region can not exist normally in terms of security issues,” Ohanyan added.
