YEREVAN. – The body of Karen Petrosyan who died in Azerbaijani captivity will be sent to forensic examination.

The Armenian Defense Ministry together with the responsible bodies and international agencies is engaged in the issue, Seyran Ohanyan said.

Legal assessment of the incident will be given in Armenia and abroad, Ohanyan added.

Karen Petrosyan, a resident of Chinari village, was taken captive on August 7, and on the next day Azerbaijani side reported about his death of “a heart failure”. The body was handed over to the Armenian side last week.
