YEREVAN. – The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) of Armenia will be the venue Wednesday for the signing of an agreement, between the MES and the Japanese government, on the provision of property within the framework of a grant.
In summer, the Armenian and the Japanese governments had signed an agreement on the provision of a Japanese grant to the MES.
Pursuant to this agreement, the Armenian party will receive Japanese small and medium-sized enterprise products worth equivalent to $1.93 million.
Also according to the signed document, Japan will provide six new management vehicles, owing to which the Armenian MES will have a mobile management headquarters.
