Young activists of the Armenian National Congress (ANC) sent a letter to the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Kazakhstan's Secretary of State and Foreign Minister Kanat Saudabayev.

In their letter, the ANC activists note that since 2003 OSCE has conducted reforms in the Armenian police system and repeatedly called them successful, whereas the March 1 events proved the system to be far from being an agency fit for a democratic state.

The OSCE merely does not follow the implementation of the reforms and the recent arrest of Davit Kiramijyan is evidence thereof, said Hovhannes Kiramijyan (Davit’s brother).

Davit Kiramijyan was detained on June 31 near the monument to Martiros Saryan, during the clash with police that hampered a protest rally organized by the ANC young activists in Liberty Square.
