Renowned actress Claudia Cardinale will be a guest of the 7th Golden Apricot International Film Festival, said the festival program director Mikayel Stamboltsyan.

According to him, Claudia Cardinale will present the film “Mayrig” (Mother) by Henri Verneuil where she had one of the roles. She will be awarded a special Golden Apricot prize,   Stamboltsyan noted.

He also informed that the audience will have a chance to watch other films - “The Cow and I”, “Fear Over the City” and “People of No Importance” as part of retrospective show of Verneuil’s films dedicated to the director’s 90th anniversary. 

Stamboltsyan stated that the 9 films – winners of the Cannes and Berlin film festivals - will be screened.
