CIS states will unite efforts to create a common system of satellite monitoring of emergency and regional situation.

The decision was made as a result of a meeting of representatives of the executive authorities of the CIS countries.

Establishment of a new juridical base of multilateral cooperation, the issue of accession of the CIS countries to the International Charter on Space and Major Disasters were included in the protocol of a meeting.

CIS countries also agreed to establish a unified system of satellite monitoring of agricultural land of the CIS states.
