Only two factors - further activities of the OSCE Minsk Group and aspiration of both sides, Armenia and Azerbaijan, to find the way out of the protracted Nagorno-Karabakh conflict - will enable the conflicting parties to resolve it, OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Kanat Saudabayev told journalists.

According to him, the OSCE Minsk Group is consistent in dealing with the issue. He expressed hope that their further activities will enable them to resolve the conflict.

He stated that Kazakhstan as a co-chairing state has been making its contribution to the process.

Following his talks with his Turkish counterpart Ahmet Davutoglu on June 21, Saudabayev noted that they could not omit the Karabakh issue, as Kazakhstan exerts every effort to reduce tension in so-called zones of protracted conflicts, and Turkey’s involvement in their resolution is very important.
