YEREVAN. – Armenia Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan, servicemen from several military units of the Yerevan Garrison, and cadets from the capital city’s military education institutions also participated in the Saturday cleaning and tree planting.  

They took part in this event within the framework of the strengthening of army-society ties.  

On this occasion, Ohanyan, high-ranking military officers, and Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan planted trees at a churchyard. 

Welcoming this initiative by the Yerevan Municipality, Seyran Ohanyan assured that the Armenian army always stands ready to assist and support such events.
