Armenian News-NEWS.am has received new information on the people who lost their lives as a result of Monday’s tragic road accident that occurred in Armenia’s Shirak Region. 

We have learned that five of the victims were male and the other two, female. The relatives have already identified six of the victims, whereas a 20-22-year-old boy has not yet been identified. 

We also have managed to find out that one of the victims was a weightlifter by the name of Vanik Sargsyan.

One of the other victims was the minibus driver, Razmik Mkrtchyan.

As reported earlier, seven people in a passenger minibus were burned alive in a tragic road accident on Armenia’s Gyumri-Yerevan highway on Monday, as the minibus had crashed into a truck. The minibus was on fire on the highway, near Khorom village. As a result, seven passengers were burned alive, whereas another seven were hospitalized. The Police regional department of investigation has launched a criminal investigation, and the truck driver, M. Vardanyan, is detained.
