Starting from 2017, Russia may begin the construction of its own space station, RBC reported citing a source at the country’s Central Research Institute for Machine Building.
The experts point to several reasons for constructing this space station. Accordingly, cargo can be sent to the new station from Plesetsk Space Station. In addition, Up to 90 percent of Russia and the continental shelf of Russia (Arctic shelf) will be visible from the new space station.
