On July 2, the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs met with NKR President Bako Sahakyan, Defense Minister Movses Hakobyan and Foreign Minister Georgi Petrosyan.

The mediators’ meeting with the NKR President lasted for two and a half hours.

The NEWS.am correspondent tried to learn the details from NKR Presidential Press Secretary David Babayan, who said comments will be available only after an official statement has been made. As to his opinion of the Co-Chairs’ visit to Karabakh after the Obama, Sarkozy, Medvedev statement, Babayan said: “The mediators have always visited Nagorno-Karabakh and will go on visiting.”

On many occasions, however, the OSCE MG Co-Chairs paid regional visits, without visiting Nagorno-Karabakh.
