RA Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan held a meeting July 2 with the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs, who arrived in Armenia from Nagorno-Karabakh. The sides discussed the current stage of the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process and available opportunities.

The Information and Public Relations Department, RA Defense Office, informed NEWS.am that the sides also exchanged views on the situation on the contact line, latest developments, as well as prospects. Minister Ohanyan pointed out the importance of the Co-Chairs’ efforts toward a peaceful settlement of the conflict on terms acceptable to both the Armenian and Azerbaijani sides.

On July 2, OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs Igor Popov and Robert Bradtke met with NKR President Bako Sahakyan, Foreign Minister Gevorg Petrosyan, and Minister of Defense Movses Hakobyan.

Today, July 3, the Co-Chairs are to meet with RA President Serzh Sargsyan and RA Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian.
