YEREVAN. – All of Armenia’s interstate and national roads, except for the Shishkert motorway which is closed due to a collapse, are open for traffic as of Saturday at 9:45am, reported the Ministry of Transport and Communication.

But there is black ice on both sides of the Vardenyats (Selim) Mountain Pass.

In addition, snow is falling on the roads in Spitak, Maralik Akhuryan, Talin, Ani, Ashotsk, Aparan, Artik, Kotayk, Sevan, and Hrazdan towns.

The road crews are scattering salt and sand on the motorways to ensure safe travel.
