Armenia became full-fledged member of ECOSOC

The Public Council of Armenia became a full-fledged member of the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations (ECOSOC).

“Armenia’s membership to the economic and social councils, as well as such international agencies will give an opportunity to exchange experience and solve problems with joint efforts,” President of RA Public Council Vazgen Manukyan stated in his speech at the annual congress of the organization in New York.

On July 5-8, the Armenian delegation participates in the annual congress of the ECOSOC.

The ECOSOC was established in 1999 and has 61 members.
