YEREVAN. – For Armen Yeritsyan, the Minister of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations of Armenia, the New Year is a good opportunity to get together with relatives and celebrate this holiday in accordance with Armenian traditions.
Yeritsyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am that he always welcomes the New Year at home, and together with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
“I have two daughters, [and] three grandsons. I bought the gifts for my grandchildren back in December; [toy]cars because 2-3-year-old children are interested in cars,” the minister said.
Yeritsyan also informed that his wife had prepared the list for the food to be put on their New Year’s table, and he had made the respective purchases on the last days of December.
“I’m a person who loves the traditions, and I’m surprised at the people who complain,” the Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations minister specifically said.
